Fabulous piece of kit delivered promptly full instructions and handy tips.
Stunning results-trust the process!
This really is such a beautiful idea. And so well designed that anyone can get perfect results. At a few points in the process I was sure I had messed up (alginate powder didn't combine easily with the water at first; felt there were too many air bubbles in the alginate; we probably took our hands out a bit too agressively...) But then I crumbled away the alginate to reveal the plaster and it was perfect! Captured so much fine detail. The cast is currently on the side drying and still uncanny to me to catch sight of it and totally recognise my partner's hand and his knuckles. Love it!
Very good service highly recommend

I bought a hand casting kit for my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. We did the cast at the family party in August. We made a mistake when mixing, so the finished result had a lot of air bubbles. I was devastated and contacted the company. The asked me to send the cast to them, which I did. It has come back to me today, and has been completely restored. I don’t know how! But it is perfect. They are wizards. Cannot recommend the kits and their customer service enough. I now have my mum and dad holding hands forever.

Couple Hand Casting Kit: For 2 Hands
creating this couple's hand casting kit was brilliant. We found it best watching a couple of you tube videos before. Do not hesitate to have a go. We are waiting for the hands to dry properly so we can paint them a brass/gold colour. we were really pleased and cant believe the detail that shows in the hands. The only thing I would say is that I have quite a tall engagement ring and it did not work at all. Either take big jewellery off or be prepared for the mould to maybe not work.

Lovely Gift
Such a lovely gift bought for our mums birthday for her to do with her own mum.She loved it. It came packaged really well and although a little messy it was great to do, the whole family got involved. The end result was amazing. Such detail and a beautiful keepsake for her to treasure.
Brilliant Casting Kit
On my Mum s 93rd birthday (2nd Oct 2017) her Grandchildren( Kerry Everett , Michael Fountain and Wendy Barton ) bought her an Edinburgh Casting kit which was recommended by Trixie and Dorrie Morley.( 103 yrs of age)
My Mum , Christina Elliott was absolutely thrilled when we made the casting of our two hands clasped together. It's amazing how every small detail of our hands and rings can be seen. It will be a wonderful treasured family memory for years.
Couple Kit and Refill Bundle
Don’t know where to start....the Edinburgh casting studio have been fabulous start to finish! I bought the couple hand cast kit with refill to make two casts, one of my mum and I and the other for my grandparents. Both casts turned out beautifully, the kit is easy to use and straightforward. The handbook takes you step by step with helpful hints and tips along the way. Alex at the Edinburgh casting studio has answered all my queries quickly and in depth, making sure that I got the most out of my casts. Would highly recommend!!!!!

Proud of what we made
We decided to have a couple kit and try our luck. When we read the instructions we were very excited, how will we make this work? Mix all the stuff, stay in time limits and still manage to stay still when need to? Well, the result worth every moment of doubt and excitement! We love to see our hand on the shelf which represents not just us as a couple but our bound and our effort. We are so proud of the result. We can say, we made it! Excellent details and lots of fun :) Thank you! [Submitted 14th April 2017 via Facebook]

Married 33 year Anniversary
Our love today is better than it was yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.
Excellent service
I ordered 2 kits for wedding presents, I had forgotten to do it before I went on holiday and thought they wouldn’t be here in time for the first one on 9/7. Ordered on 29/6 and arrived 2/7! Thank you so much, can’t wait to give them as presents. Might need one for myself as well. [Submitted 16th Jul 2016 via www.edinburghcasting.com]
So easy to do

Great fun.
Cannot decide what the most exciting thing was, casting in the pink jelly turning white or revealing the cast hands. The detail is amazing – not messy – we cannot believe we created this. Easy & clear instructions – a great gift from our daughter and son in law. [Submitted 23rd Jul 2016 via www.edinburghcasting.com]

I bought the couples casting kit and have made a sculpture of myself and husband holding hands and it looks great, I'd love to do a sculpture of our bodies, good fun, don't worry about the spillage as it will go hard and then it's easy to clean. Thank you love my item emma. [Submitted 16th Oct 2016 via Facebook]
