Easy to use but follow the instructions and read twice beforehand! Our casting was amazing but it doesn’t stand up as we angled our wrists too much.

Absolutely loved doing this with my partner for his birthday. That one object is now filled with amazing memories as we made it tucked away in the countryside in a log cabin which will last a lifetime. Forever holding my hand
My beautiful mum has dementia, it is known as the long goodbye and it really is. When the handcasting kit came up on my Facebook page I immediately thought what a great way to always have her with me even when this awful disease finally steals her away. I bought a hand casting kit for my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. We did the cast at the family party in August. We made a mistake when mixing, so the finished result had a lot of air bubbles. I was devastated and contacted the company. The asked me to send the cast to them, which I did. It has come back to me today, and has been completely restored. I don’t know how! But it is perfect. They are wizards. Cannot recommend the kits and their customer service enough. I now have my mum and dad holding hands forever.

creating this couple's hand casting kit was brilliant. We found it best watching a couple of you tube videos before. Do not hesitate to have a go. We are waiting for the hands to dry properly so we can paint them a brass/gold colour. we were really pleased and cant believe the detail that shows in the hands. The only thing I would say is that I have quite a tall engagement ring and it did not work at all. Either take big jewellery off or be prepared for the mould to maybe not work.

Finally took the plunge and tried it, and it was easier than I thought it would be. Plenty of stuff to work with and for a first attempt, it wasn't too bad. My hand got a bit overwhelmed by my partners but can't see how we could have avoided this seeing as his hands are so much bigger than mine. Good fun and a nice keepsake. Worth trying.

Love it, although I have part of my index finger missing. We did everything as per instructions, I can only think that we didnt' put the mix into the mould properly. I have tried casting kits before and had dismal results, so being honest I was a bit skeptical, but no need to be, I followed the instructions also watched it via the link in the booklet and got a great result! When we removed our hands and looked into the aliginate I couldn't see how it was going to work, but the disappointment was short lived when we saw the end result 45mins later! A few little air bubbles, but nothing that can't be fixed with the tools provided, and the repair kit I requested. Excellent customer service-highly recommended. ⭐

Really happy with the result of last weekends casting! It has come out perfect. My dad worked his magic and took off some bubbles that had appeared and my mom has placed it on a mirrored plinth, which sets it off beautifully. Don’t know where to start....the Edinburgh casting studio have been fabulous start to finish! I bought the couple hand cast kit with refill to make two casts, one of my mum and I and the other for my grandparents. Both casts turned out beautifully, the kit is easy to use and straightforward. Alex at the Edinburgh casting studio has answered all my queries quickly and in depth, making sure that I got the most out of my casts. Would highly recommend!!!!!
Couple Kit Review
Fantastic! Easy to purchase and very speedy delivery! Everything you need is inside the bucket (minus water and mixer) very quick and easy to create a lasting masterpiece! We love our hands and the detail is lovely!

Proud of what we made
We decided to have a couple kit and try our luck. When we read the instructions we were very excited, how will we make this work? Mix all the stuff, stay in time limits and still manage to stay still when need to? Well, the result worth every moment of doubt and excitement! Cannot decide what the most exciting thing was, casting in the pink jelly turning white or revealing the cast hands. The detail is amazing – not messy – we cannot believe we created this. Love my item
I bought the couples casting kit and have made a sculpture of myself and husband holding hands and it looks great, I'd love to do a sculpture of our bodies, good fun, don't worry about the spillage as it will go hard and then it's easy to clean.
