Use Exact Quantities

We have worked out the measurements for you, so you don't have to! The experts at The Edinburgh Casting Studio have designed these kits to work perfectly, when the instructions are followed. Don't be tempted to freestyle.

Mix by Hand

When mixing the plaster, wear waterproof safety gloves and mix by hand. This allows you to feel any lumps in the mixture as you mix the powder.

Add Powder to Water

Add powder to your measured water, this way it will reduce the chance of dry stone sticking to the bottom of your mixing container.

Use Cold Water

Cold water gives you the most mixing time possible with your Stone mixture.
